It's that blissful 15 minutes every season where I have NOTHING TO DO in the garden (except water and weed, natch). Things are growing and blooming and after all the delayed gratification of spring toil, it's pure pleasure to sit outside in sunshine and bask in, well, the green-ness of everything. We're already eating lettuce and greens, and berries and baby squash are almost ready.

| First caterpillar - found him just hanging out on my fennel! |
| 10 days later - voila! First Black Swallowtail of 2011. |
| Off to the garden he goes. |
| The first boysenberry!!!!! |
| The herbs are filling in nicely in the birdbath. Still no idea what the top plant is... |
| Lettuce, chard, and collards |
| Planting day in April, was it? |
| Tomato heaven today. And check out that massive brussel sprout! |
| The leaky fountain is now a full-on herb garden. |
| Baby summer squash |
| Sungold cherry tomatoes are right around the corner. |
| Carrots finally sprouted after two planting attempts. |
| Beans, peas, squash, corn, and tomatillos are all going gangbusters. |
| The pepper patch (with artichokes in the back). |

Wow ... it all looks so green and yummy, Susan!!! Would you have a sprig of Rosemary to spare that I could put in one of my Tupperware Herb planters to show at parties? TupperHugs, Sandi
